IF your hardware can not perform the
wobbly windows
it will NOT show up in your selection.
There is a filter at the top right. That is how I found out on one of my computers that wobbly windows was not supported.
One of the things I missed when working on this new Plasma setup challenge is one of the desktop effects. You might have seen it in compiz in other video’s.
WOBBLY WINDOWS
There is no need to install anything. It just works out of the box on the compositor of Plasma. You just need to activate it.
The picture above and the video show you how to activate the setting.
We will record from now on with this desktop effect on. You will see its effect all the time.
Plasma Challenge
You can follow our tutorials based on either of two ISO’s.
1. ArcoLinuxB Plasma (recommended)
We record the plasma video’s on an SSD installed from the ArcoLinuxB Plasma ISO.
You can either create your very own ArcoLinuxB Plasma ISO following this tutorial or download it from Sourceforge. (ArcoLinuxB-plasma-18.11.2.ISO of 4.3 GB – games included)
2. ArcoLinuxD Plasma
You can also use the ArcoLinuxD ISO and then install Plasma with the help of the github scripts. This will not be an exact copy of the ISO.
