We are creating a series of YouTube videos under the “edu-“ label to guide users through the migration from ArcoLinux to Arch Linux. These tutorials aim to make the transition process smoother by explaining each step clearly and providing practical examples. Whether you’re switching to gain more control or to learn vanilla Arch, our edu- videos are here to support your journey.

ArcoLinux has stopped

Teaching never stops—because learning is a lifelong journey for all of us.

Help yourself and use links to look up information on the net in the TTY

When you are installing ArcoLinuxD you start with a TTY screen. It is all black and you type what you want to accomplish. I wanted to get rid of the ‘ugly’ shutdown lines and I knew what to do but wondered what the exact code was again.

You can install links:

sudo pacman -S links

And then surf with links to https://arcolinux.com and search for shutdown to find the article with the answer and that in the TTY.

This was assuming you have only one pc and no smartphone.

How do you find your answer then?
